Farman Turkington Forestry Ltd (FTF), managers of Craigmore’s Lagoon Hill property, has achieved Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification.

Completion of the accreditation in October 2022 is the culmination of more than two years work by FTF which involved scrutiny of the business to ensure all operations adhere to the principles of FSC®.

Securing certification is a key step for both FTF and our business, says Forestry General Manager, John Barker.

“While this isn’t a requirement of our investors, certification is something that we are very keen on as professional forest managers, and we’re thrilled for Guy and his team to have successfully completed this process”, said John.

For Guy Farman, Director of FTF, achieving FSC certification has been a really positive process for the business.

“FSC has enhanced our business and ensured we have better systems in place. It’s been really beneficial for our business”, said Guy.

FSC® certfication is a rigorous forest certification system trusted by NGOs, businesses, and consumers worldwide. FSC® certification systems verify sustainable sourcing of forest products and ecosystem services at every step of the value chain, from forest to consumer.
