Across our farming, forestry and horticulture businesses, there are opportunities to build careers and join the Craigmore team in both office roles and out in the field to help us achieve our goals.
As well as permanent positions, we regularly recruit seasonal team members to join us during busy periods. If you would like to know more about current vacancies or future opportunities at Craigmore get in touch by emailing careers@craigmore.com.
Are you looking for a rewarding role in beautiful Ongaonga Central Hawkes Bay? Look no further than our Apple Quality Control team!
We're looking for individuals with excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds to join us for harvest. You must also be willing to work in all weather conditions to ensure that our apples are inspected efficiently.
As a QC, you will be responsible for ensuring that our apples meet the highest standards of quality. You will ensure the functionality and reliability of all machines, engines, hydromatic, and mechanical systems. Additionally, you will liaise and coordinate with key service providers to ensure regular maintenance is conducted and compliance is maintained, including WOF and service under warranties.
In conjunction with Lincoln University, we offer two postgraduate scholarships to students completing study and research in agriculture and related areas.
The Craigmore Sustainables Farming Scholarship was established in 2013 and in addition to supporting study, it provides the opportunity to conduct research on a Craigmore dairy farm.
The Craigmore Sustainables and Wilson Family Sustainability in Primary Industries Scholarship was introduced in 2023. Craigmore received the Fonterra Responsible Dairying Award and the John Wilson Memorial Trophy at the 2022 New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards for demonstrating leadership in sustainable dairy farming. Thanks to this award, we have launched a second scholarship.
