We are pleased to share Craigmore’s 2025 Impact & Sustainability Report, which reflects the progress we are making across our diversified land-based portfolio and the values that underpin our long-term strategy.

This year, we have deliberately aligned the structure of our reporting with the values that define Craigmore: ‘Understand Tomorrow, Act Today’; ‘Connect and Empower’; and ‘Deliver with Integrity’. These values are more than guiding principles – they shape our operations, our culture, and our commitment to growing the best of Aotearoa New Zealand in a way that delivers enduring value for investors and stakeholders.

Highlights from the year

Forestry: We expanded our forestry footprint by 4,250 hectares, planting more than 4.46 million trees and sequestering 96,063 tonnes of CO₂e. In addition, we protected over 6,488 hectares of native vegetation and planted 341 hectares in native species during the year.

Dairy: Our dairy operations continued trials of Kowbucha™ and EcoPond, supporting methane reduction, improved herd health, and progress toward our climate commitments. These include a 50% reduction in net greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and the establishment of a net-zero emissions dairy farm by 2035. Over the past five years, we have reduced nitrogen loss by 34%, while also improving cow body condition and fertility rates.

Horticulture: We added 671 hectares of new orchards and vineyards, including organic kiwifruit, which now represents 34% of total kiwifruit production, reflecting strong demand for premium, sustainably produced food.

People and Communities: Our workforce grew to 374 direct employees, creating meaningful employment across under-invested rural regions. Through flexible working arrangements, internal training programmes, and support for industry leadership, we continue to build capability and foster an inclusive, high-performing workplace.

Scale and Governance: Craigmore reached $1.4 billion in assets under management, supported by robust governance, risk management, and a disciplined approach to sustainability across all asset classes.

We would like to thank our investors, stakeholders, and, most importantly, the people of Craigmore for their continued commitment and support. Together, we are building resilient, productive businesses that deliver strong financial performance and positive environmental and social outcomes.
