Launching the Craigmore Scholarship
Craigmore is launching its new Scholarship Programme, the first to be awarded this semester. Craigmore are offering the scholarship for a second/third year student at Lincoln University studying a Bachelor of Agricultural Science. The scholarship, worth $5,000, will give students the opportunity to work on a Craigmore farm over 3-4 months. At the end of this period, the students’ will use their experience to produce a report on a chosen topic.
Each year the scholarship will have a different topic relating to the impacts our farms have on the environment. The findings will provide valuable insights to our farmers, and topics will range from on-farm nutrient management options to the impacts of technology on farm sustainability.
Applications for the scholarship open from semester one 2014, and the successful applicant needs to be passionate about farming and have a real interest in minimising farming’s impact on the land and water.
You can register your interest by emailing Becs Dondertman (becs.dondertman@craigmore.com) and we will notify you when more information is available.
