Directions To Craigmore from:

Timaru Southern Boundary - State Highway 1

• Just south of Salt Water Creek bridge, turn right onto Beaconsfield Road and travel 13kms to Priests Corner, at a T-intersection.

• Turn left towards Holme Station Corner - one kilometre. There you will see a blue Transit sign indicating Maungati/Cave.

• Turn right onto Pareora River Road and travel 3.8 kilometres.

• Turn left into Craigmore Valley Road, and travel 4 kilometres.

• Turn right onto a shingle road called Craigmore Hill Road.

From Dunedin, Oamaru or Waimate coming North on State Highway 1

• Approximately 3kms north of St Andrews a Transit sign indicates Maungati/Cave - you turn left into Pareora River Road.

• Travel 12kms on Pareora River road to Holme Station Corner, where a blue Transit sign indicates turnoff to Maungati/Cave.

• Turn left onto Pareora River Road, continuing on another 3.8 kilometres. You will pass some huts on your right.

• Turn left into Craigmore Valley Road and travel 4 kilometres.

• Turn right into Craigmore Hill Road (this is the first turnoff on your right - it is a shingle road).

From Mt Cook, Tekapo or Fairlie on State Highway 8

• Prior to Cave township, a green transit sign indicates Pareora, 31km, St Andrews, 33km. Follow these signs along the Cannington Road.

• At 5.8km, a sign indicates Pareora Gorge Road, follow this road which is a winding hill road.

• At 16.9km from State Highway 8, turn right into Craigmore Valley Road. Travel approximately 4km.

• Turn right into Craigmore Hill Road, which is shingle.
