Warren Landles

Warren comes from the UK where he worked for the UK government to train and help farmers get to grips with new environmental legislation. He has worked as a beef, cropping and grazing advisor in the Falkland Islands and as a Production Manager focusing on agronomy in Canada. Prior to joining Craigmore, Warren worked for Synlait Farms helping manage a 2,100 cow herd. He is a trained agronomist specialising in soil, water and nutrient management and has a Masters in Sustainable Agriculture.

Warren has a keen interest in global food production and has visited more than 1,000 farms worldwide. Warren and his wife Helen (who works for Dairy NZ) now live in Lincoln and are greatly enjoying living and working in New Zealand. Warren’s initial focus will be to implement a new health and safety system to bring us up to the level required by the new legislation that came out in April 2015. He will then turn his attention to helping our farms exploit sustainability opportunities and to prepare for new challenges.
