Craigmore Sustainables Internship position – offered from April, 2010
Craigmore Sustainables NV is a new Funds Group launched in 2009 and making investments in carbon sequestration and renewable energy. Craigmore Sustainables’ first investments are forests and forestry land in New Zealand. The forests are being managed to sequester carbon under New Zealand / Kyoto greenhouse gas compliance legislation. The credits are sold to compliance buyers both domestically (NZU's) and internationally (green AAU's). A background in analytic disciplines and an understanding of the climate change policy response will be favoured. The internships may range from three to six months. Interns may subsequently be considered for a full-time role. Applicants should send their resume detailing past experience and qualifications to jobs@craigmore.com. Interviews will take place in our Mayfair office. The Interns will also help the Craigmore team to research and document investment opportunities. Non-forestry investment opportunities in the green field may also be considered, although Craigmore's 2010 focus is, clearly, forestry.
